Nearly all will say that if a floor slopes 1 and 1 2 inches in twenty feet or more that there should be further investigation.
My garage floor slope is too much.
Your figure of 1 4 per foot doesn t sound bad.
My only question is if the sloop is only 1 25 over a length of 6 ft is it really necessary that the platform be.
Aci 117 90 st andard specifications for tolerances for concrete construction and materials gives a level alignment tolerance of 3 4 inch for top of slab elevation of slabs on grade.
Floors that slope 2 or 3 inches in 20 feet would be a very serious concern.
Laitance is a mixture of particles that move up through the concrete while curing.
Also if a heavy rain its coming towards garage doors a puddle will form on the inside right side by wall.
A 2 slope will probably ensure better drainage we could also find no slope tolerance for use when a floor slope is specified.
I try to squeegee but there is allot of moisture in the crawlspace ceiling under.
There is no floor drain i have been told the floor may be sloped the wrong way.
Basically they are saying if a floor is sloping over a 1 2 to 1 inch in twenty feet then there is concern.
If the top layer of your floor is a crumbly and sandy it is because it was mixed with too much water.
Is there a fix for this.
But they got one low spot right where i got out of my car.

My double car garage does not have a drain.
So during the winter melted snow and rain would puddle there and freeze.
You did a great job in building the platform.
When the snow melts off of vehicle it does not drain.
Some laitance is normal for an unsealed garage floor which is why your garage is always a little dusty.
But basement floors too will slope towards the drain.
When they poured my garage slab in my last house i asked em to slope it a lot.
