Motorcycle Rear Running Lights Not Working

First they only worked sometimes.

Blow fuse the first thing the mechanics check is the fuse corresponding to the rear lights. As the rear lights are not connected they do not illuminate. I have a 1988 suzuki cavalcade. But i really don t see how those would be connected to the series enough to kill this light.

You may have had that bulb out for awhile and just now noticed it. The causes why tail lights not working. Only the rear tail lights and front forks rear running lights are not working. The common causes the tail lights do not work are.

Unless they have been reworked. The same fuse that powers the head light. Try a new bulb first. When the fuse is blown it does not allow the circuit to complete.

Your rear turn signals are not running lights unless you have installed an accessory module to make the rear turn signals into running lights. The owner s manual does have a wiring diagram. If your head light works the fuse is good. Later on in the week my turn signals only worked after the motorcycle was left alone for a few days.

Alright my bikes tail lights are that of a yamaha 400 i was doing a little night riding last night and noticed that i don t have running lights in back.
